The Office of Emergency Management works to mitigate, plan, and prepare for emergencies on the UT Tyler campus, educate the campus community about preparedness, coordinate emergency response and recovery efforts, and collect and disseminate critical information. The Office of Emergency Management operates the University Operations Center (UOC) which serves as the incident command post during critical incidents on the UT Tyler campus.

This is a message from the UT Tyler Emergency Management. Attention All Clear. The RBN and RBS buildings have been searched and nothing suspicious was found. Stay vigilant and report any suspicious individuals or devices.

An emergency situation (describe) at UT Tyler is currently in progress at (describe location by reference to facility name (if known), street and cross street).
Emergency personnel are currently responding to this incident and University officials are monitoring the situation. If you are in the affected building(s), (lockdown/evacuate). To keep yourself safe and avoid impeding the emergency response, please avoid the UT Tyler campus (or specific area) until further notice.
Unless you need to report an injury or critical information, do not call nine one one or the University for information about the situation.
Updates will be provided via PatriotALERT as needed until the situation is resolved.

Due to an emergency situation involving the RBS and RBN buildings. It is necessary to immediately evacuate that area. If you are in either building exit NOW and move toward parking lot 8. Gather items that are currently in your possession only.
If you are in another building on campus, remain there and await further instructions.
