The Office of Emergency Management works to mitigate, plan, and prepare for emergencies on the UT Tyler campus, educate the campus community about preparedness, coordinate emergency response and recovery efforts, and collect and disseminate critical information.
The Office of Emergency Management operates the University Operations Center (UOC) which serves as the incident command post during critical incidents on the UT Tyler campus.

Phone Outage Update
At this time, we estimate that 85% of the campus phone service has been restored. We plan to restore 100% of the phones over the next few hours.
