Second Outdoor Warning Site to be Installed, Tested on Thursday

A second site for the UT Tyler Outdoor Warning System will be installed on Thursday, May 28. Once the installation is completed, there will be several audible tests on Thursday afternoon to confirm the system is operating properly. Tests will be in the form of a Chime Test or a General Test Message with tones.

The second site will enhance outdoor coverage on the west side of the campus, especially areas around Patriot Village, the Baseball/Softball Complex, Library, Physical Plant, University Pines, and the Art Building.
