UT Tyler advises all students and employees to be extremely careful of high water on the roadways due to the heavy rainfall. Allow enough travel time to make it to campus safely. Reduce speed and be aware of low-lying areas where water has collected.
A Flash Flood Warning remains in effect for the area through this morning.
MOST FLOOD RELATED DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS WATER COVERED BRIDGES...DIPS...OR LOW WATER CROSSINGS.
