TO:         UT Tyler Students, Faculty & Staff

The University will conduct a campus-wide test of the PatriotALERT emergency notification system on Tuesday, Nov. 1 at approx. 10:45 a.m.

PatriotALERT is the system that the University uses to inform you of emergencies on campus such as a tornado, hostile intruder or hazardous materials release. It is a mass notification system comprised of e-mail, voice and text messaging that is designed to send emergency messages to all UT Tyler students, faculty, and staff in minutes. It supplements existing means of emergency communication, including the outdoor warning system and severe weather alert radios.
