The Office of Emergency Management works to mitigate, plan, and prepare for emergencies on the UT Tyler campus, educate the campus community about preparedness, coordinate emergency response and recovery efforts, and collect and disseminate critical information.
The Office of Emergency Management operates the University Operations Center (UOC) which serves as the incident command post during critical incidents on the UT Tyler campus.

UT Tyler Delayed Opening
A message from UT TYLER
UT Tyler will have a delayed opening of 12:30 p.m. for Tuesday, March 4, due to icy roadways. Tyler, Palestine, and Longview included. Innovation Academy Charter Schools closed.
