A message from UT TYLER EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS (PATRIOTALERT)
A winter storm warning is in effect for the northeast Texas area through 6:00 pm tomorrow, Wednesday, February 25th. Significant amounts of sleet and/or snow are probable, making driving conditions problematic. The University of Texas at Tyler, including the Tyler, Longview, and Palestine campuses, as well as the Innovation Academies, will be closed tomorrow and all classes are canceled. The University will re-open at normal time Thursday, February 26th.
