Message from UT Tyler Emergency Management: A winter storm warning is in effect beginning tonight at 9:00 pm lasting through Monday at 6:00 pm. Conditions are likely for a wintry mix of sleet and snow which could create travel difficulties on area roadways, particularly on bridges and overpasses. University officials will be monitoring the weather conditions overnight. If it becomes necessary to delay and/or cancel University of Texas at Tyler operations for Monday, a Patriot Alert notification will be sent via email, text, and phone message by 6:30 am. Continue to monitor the National Weather Service and your local news for updates on the winter storm warning.
