Scheduled PatriotALERT Test - Tuesday, Oct. 2

A message from UT TYLER EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS (PATRIOTALERT)

THIS IS AN OFFICIAL MESSAGE FROM UT TYLER EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT:   Dear Blog,   Next Tuesday, Oct. 2, at 10:50 a.m., UT Tyler will test the PatriotALERT Emergency Communications System. This once-per-semester full-scale test is required by the University's Emergency Operations Plan.    At that time, all students, faculty and staff will receive an e-mail, text message and phone call announcing a test of the system.  Additionally, UT Tyler's outdoor and indoor warning systems will be tested.   PatriotALERT is the primary way that the University will alert you of life-threatening situations and other emergencies on or near campus.  Therefore it is critical that your contact information, especially your cell phone number, is correct.   To find instructions for updating your contact information and to learn more about PatriotALERT, visit http://www.uttyler.edu/emergency/patriotalert/.   Thank you for your cooperation.   UT Tyler Emergency Management E-mail: patriotalert@uttyler.edu Twitter: @uttylerem
