Scheduled PatriotALERT Test - Tuesday, Oct. 2

A message from UT TYLER EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS (PATRIOTALERT)

THIS IS AN OFFICIAL MESSAGE FROM UT TYLER EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT:

Dear Blog,

Next Tuesday, Oct. 2, at 10:50 a.m., UT Tyler will test the PatriotALERT Emergency Communications System. This once-per-semester full-scale test is required by the University's Emergency Operations Plan.

At that time, all students, faculty and staff will receive an e-mail, text message and phone call announcing a test of the system.  Additionally, UT Tyler's outdoor and indoor warning systems will be tested.

PatriotALERT is the primary way that the University will alert you of life-threatening situations and other emergencies on or near campus.  Therefore it is critical that your contact information, especially your cell phone number, is correct.

Thank you for your cooperation.
