Timely Warning Notification Agg Assault w Firearm

In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, the University of Texas at Tyler Police Department is issuing the following timely notification bulletin:   Shooting Overnight at Cambridge Apartments Parking lot 3088 Old Omen Road   The following press release was received on 9-25-12 from the Tyler Police Department:   "On this date Tyler Police were called to ETMC in reference to two subjects that had been shot. Officers arrived and located two males with non-life threatening gunshot wounds. The victims advised they had been at attending a Dice game at 3088 Old Omen road. The victims advised after the game they were sitting in their vehicle in the parking lot talking. They advised that an unknown black male wearing a black shirt approached their vehicle. They advised the black male pulled open the car door and began shooting them with a small handgun. They advised the suspect then fled on foot. The victims drove themselves to ETMC for treatment. The investigation is on-going.
