The Office of Emergency Management works to mitigate, plan, and prepare for emergencies on the UT Tyler campus, educate the campus community about preparedness, coordinate emergency response and recovery efforts, and collect and disseminate critical information.
The Office of Emergency Management operates the University Operations Center (UOC) which serves as the incident command post during critical incidents on the UT Tyler campus.

UT TYLER PALESTINE CAMPUS Update to Morning Alert
A message from UT TYLER
The roadway has been cleared for traffic. The Palestine campus will remain closed today Friday January 24. Normal operations will resume Monday, January 27.
